Student nurses welcome freshmen at University General Orientation

EUSNA Joins University General Orientation 2026

Promoting leadership, volunteerism and community engagement among incoming students, the Enverga University Student Nurses Association welcomed freshmen through an interactive booth during University General Orientation 2026 on July 31 at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation Gymnasium.

EUSNA officers and volunteers introduced students to the association’s programs, advocacies and membership opportunities. They answered inquiries, explained the benefits of joining the organization, distributed informational brochures and displayed EUSNA merchandise and school supplies.

The booth also featured the Funny Fortune Teller, an interactive activity first introduced during the OSALubong program. EUSNA brought back the activity following its positive reception, providing freshmen with a fun and memorable way to engage with the organization’s representatives.

Through direct conversations, officers and volunteers encouraged students to explore opportunities for leadership, service, professional development and active participation in campus life. The interactions also helped create an inclusive environment where freshmen could build connections and feel welcomed into the University community.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome our incoming freshmen and introduce them to EUSNA’s mission and programs,” EUSNA President Charles Devela said. “We hope this experience inspires them to participate actively in campus life and join us in promoting leadership, volunteerism and service.”

The activity strengthened EUSNA’s visibility within the University while allowing its officers and volunteers to develop their communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. It also reinforced the association’s commitment to academic excellence, service and the development of future student leaders.

The activity supported the University’s commitment to student-centered learning by helping freshmen discover opportunities for leadership, service and professional growth beyond the classroom. It also reflected the core values of Service, Excellence and Unity by creating an inclusive environment and encouraging active participation in the Envergan community.
