EUJPIA, JPAMA support young learners through mini library initiative

The Enverga University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants conducted “One Page at a Time: A Mini Library Initiative” on March 6, at Lucena South II Elementary School to promote literacy and support young learners through book donations.
The project provided students with additional learning materials and helped establish a mini library within the school. Donated books were distributed to give pupils better access to reading resources and encourage the development of reading skills.
The initiative aimed to support education by creating a space where students could explore books, discover new ideas and develop interest in reading. It also encouraged curiosity and continuous learning among young learners.
Despite limited participation, the activity showed how small efforts can create meaningful impact in the community. Students responded positively to the donated books and the opportunity to access new learning materials.
The Junior Philippine Association of Management Accountants supported the initiative as one of the sponsors. Through its involvement, JPAMA helped strengthen collaboration in promoting literacy and educational support.
The activity also developed a stronger sense of social responsibility among student participants. It highlighted the value of service and cooperation in helping improve access to learning resources for young students.
The initiative reflected MSEUF’s commitment to community service and student-centered learning by encouraging students to support education beyond the university. It also upheld the core values of Service, Mindfulness and Unity as student organizations worked together to promote literacy and help young learners.
- SDG 4: Quality Education — The project improved access to learning materials and supported reading development among elementary students.
- SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities — The activity helped provide additional educational resources to young learners who may have limited access to books.
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — The initiative showed collaboration among EUJPIA, JPAMA and the school community in supporting literacy and education.
