CBA student groups bring care, encouragement to Cotta learners
The College of Business Administration Academic Circle joined the Enverga University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (EUJPIA) in conducting “Nourishing Young Hearts 2025: The Heart-to-Hand Doses of Happiness” at Lucena South II Elementary School in Barangay Cotta on Jan. 17, to provide emotional and physical support to Grade 6 pupils through games, mentorship and volunteer service.
EUJPIA led the community extension project, with student leaders and volunteers from the CBA Academic Circle supporting the activity’s goal of creating a safe, interactive and encouraging space for young learners.
The student volunteers mobilized from the university’s CET Building and worked together to engage the pupils in structured games and meaningful conversations. Through these activities, the organizers helped raise the learners’ morale and made them feel valued, heard and supported.
The outreach also gave CBA student leaders an opportunity to put social responsibility into action while responding to community needs beyond the classroom.
The joint initiative strengthened the relationship between Enverga University student organizations and the Barangay Cotta community, leaving a lasting sense of gratitude among the young beneficiaries and student volunteers.
The initiative reflected Enverga University’s commitment to community service and student-centered formation by allowing student leaders to serve, mentor and engage with young learners. It also embodied the University’s core values of Service, Unity and Mindfulness through a collaborative outreach that promoted care, empathy and shared responsibility.
