College of Engineering welcomes students through General Orientation 2025

The College of Engineering held its General Orientation 2025 at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation to welcome new and returning engineering students, introduce university and college information, and strengthen unity among students, faculty and organizations.
The program opened with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the University Hymn, followed by welcome messages from university and college officials. Faculty members were also introduced to help students become familiar with the people who will guide them throughout the academic year.
The orientation featured the presentation of the university’s vision, mission, goals and core values. It also included intermission performances and short interactive games with prizes, which helped keep students engaged while making the activity informative and enjoyable.
The Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines-Quezon Student Chapter actively participated in the event by setting up a booth to welcome new students, promote organizational merchandise and encourage membership.
Through its booth, GEP-QSC gained valuable exposure and connected with potential members and other student leaders. The activity allowed the organization to share its mission and strengthen its presence within the College of Engineering community.
The orientation helped students learn more about the university’s culture, policies and support systems. It also fostered a sense of belonging and excitement for the academic year while strengthening the connection among students, faculty and student organizations.
The program benefited engineering students by giving them a meaningful start to the school year and reinforcing a strong, informed and united engineering community.
The activity reflected MSEUF’s commitment to student-centered education by helping students understand the university environment and connect with the people and organizations that support their growth. It also embodied the core values of Unity, Excellence and Service by bringing together students, faculty and organizations in one welcoming and purposeful program.
