Strengthening teamwork and creativity among student organizations, the Society of Culture, Arts, and Physical Education worked with different organizations under the College of Education to prepare props for the CED Cheerdance performance from Sept. 18-28 at AE Building 211.
A total of 30 members participated in the activity, which involved designing, cutting, assembling, painting and preparing materials intended to enhance the visual presentation of the cheerdance performance.
Participants divided responsibilities and coordinated their work across different stages of production. Through the collaborative process, members contributed ideas, handled materials and worked together to complete the props needed for the performance.
The activity also provided students with opportunities to strengthen communication, responsibility, coordination and organizational skills while working toward a shared goal.
Beyond the preparation of performance materials, the project encouraged camaraderie and cooperation among CED organizations. The completed props were intended to improve the overall visual impact of the cheerdance presentation.
Through the activity, SCAPE and participating student organizations demonstrated how collaborative preparation can support both performance quality and stronger relationships within the College of Education community.
The activity supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s learning-by-doing approach by allowing students to apply creativity, teamwork and organizational skills in a practical project. It also reflected the core values of Unity and Excellence through collaboration, shared responsibility and collective preparation for a college activity.
- • SDG 4: Quality Education — The activity provided experiential learning in teamwork, creativity, communication and project coordination outside the classroom.
- • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — Collaboration among SCAPE and other CED organizations demonstrated the value of working together toward a shared objective.
