Student organizations at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation welcomed first-year and transfer students through the annual “OSAlubong 2025” held July 18 and 21 along the Gate 2-to-CET hallway to promote camaraderie, school spirit and campus familiarity.

The Office of Student Affairs and Services initiated the activity, which gathered various student groups, including the CBA Academic Circle.

Participating organizations decorated common university walkways with self-tailored banderitas to create a festive and welcoming atmosphere for the opening of the new academic year.

Beyond the decorations, student organizations worked with their respective college departments to manage information help desks.

These stations provided assistance to new students by helping them locate campus facilities and navigate the university grounds.

Through the activity, student organizations supported a smoother transition for freshmen and transferees while strengthening student involvement in campus life.

The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Service, Unity and Mindfulness by encouraging student organizations to assist new students and create a welcoming campus environment. It also supported student-centered learning by helping learners feel guided, connected and included as they began their academic journey.

  • SDG 4: Quality Education – The initiative supported student adjustment and access to campus information at the start of the academic year.
  • SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities – The help desks assisted first-year and transfer students in navigating the university environment.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – The activity showed collaboration among OSAS, student organizations and college departments.
