CAS Social Sciences Society welcomes freshmen in OSalubong 2026
By establishing a welcoming booth that assisted freshmen and transferee students as they began the academic year, the CAS Social Sciences Society participated in OSAlubong 2026, AEC Little Theatre, July 13-14.
Organized as a yearly university welcome activity, OSALUBONG 2026 introduced students to campus resources, organizations, and opportunities while helping them adjust to university life. The CAS Social Sciences Society contributed to the initiative by providing an information desk for students who needed guidance and support during their first days on campus.
The booth assisted students in locating their assigned classrooms and becoming more familiar with the university environment. It also welcomed members of the university community, including students, faculty members, staff, and visitors, through friendly interactions and the distribution of complimentary items such as ballpens, candies, lollipops, stickers, and promotional flyers about the organization.
Four officers and seven members actively participated in managing the booth and engaging with visitors. Through the activity, members strengthened their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while representing the organization’s commitment to service and community involvement.
The participation of the CAS Social Sciences Society in OSALUBONG 2026 helped create a welcoming experience for incoming students and encouraged a stronger sense of connection within the Enverga community.
The CAS Social Sciences Society’s participation in OSALUBONG 2026 supports Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to student-centered learning by providing new students with guidance, support, and opportunities to connect with the university community. The activity reflects the core values of Service and Unity through student-led efforts that help create an inclusive and supportive campus environment.
