Developing committed and service-oriented student leaders, the CAS Social Sciences Society welcomed 20 new members after they completed Process Week 2026, a membership recruitment and screening program held July 27-31 at AEC Room 105 of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.

Throughout the weeklong program, aspiring members completed activities and tasks facilitated by the organization’s officers and members. The sessions aimed to strengthen leadership, teamwork and communication while deepening the participants’ understanding of the organization’s mission, values and commitment to service.

Process Week also allowed the aspirants to build camaraderie with current members and experience the culture of the CAS Social Sciences Society. Through their participation, they learned about the responsibilities and expectations of becoming active members of the organization.

The program concluded July 31 with the Acceptance Stage, during which the aspirants presented project proposals as their final requirement. Their proposals demonstrated creativity, collaboration and commitment to developing initiatives that could support the organization and its future programs.

All 20 aspirants completed the membership process and officially joined the CAS Social Sciences Society. Their acceptance strengthened the organization’s capacity to implement programs and activities throughout the academic year.

Through Process Week 2026, the organization continued its efforts to develop competent, dedicated and service-oriented students prepared to contribute to the Social Sciences community.

The activity supported the University’s commitment to student-centered and experiential learning by engaging students in leadership development, teamwork and project planning. It also reflected the core values of Service, Excellence and Unity by preparing members to collaborate and contribute meaningfully to their organization and the University community.
