CAS Social Sciences Society officers strengthen planning skills at LEAPS workshop

Strengthening their leadership and organizational planning competencies, the president and secretary of the CAS Social Sciences Society participated in the Leaders Advancement Programs and Services Planning Workshop–Student Organizations Assembly, titled “EU Leaders: Empowering and Uniting for Collaborative Success,” on July 28 at the Admin Building of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.

Held from 1 to 3:30 p.m., the workshop gathered presidents and secretaries of recognized student organizations for discussions on University policies, procedures and requirements for planning and implementing activities within and outside the campus.

The seminar emphasized proper documentation, coordination and compliance with institutional guidelines to help student organizations conduct their programs successfully.

Through the workshop, the CAS Social Sciences Society officers gained practical knowledge that will guide the organization in developing meaningful, organized and policy-compliant activities throughout the academic year. The sessions also reinforced the importance of responsible leadership, collaboration and effective organizational management in serving the University community.

The organization’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to continuous leadership development and excellence in student service. It also strengthened its capacity to implement well-planned initiatives that benefit its members and the wider Enverga community.

The activity supported the University’s commitment to student-centered and outcomes-oriented education by equipping student leaders with practical knowledge of organizational planning, policy compliance and program management. It also reflected the core values of Excellence, Service and Unity through responsible leadership, collaboration and active service to the University community.
