CAS Social Sciences, PolSci Society run booth at intramurals
CAS Social Sciences Society, in collaboration with the Political Science Society of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, operated an interactive booth during the Intramural Games on Nov. 6–7, to engage students and promote school spirit through food, creativity and collaboration.
The booth operated with the approval of the University Central Student Council and support of the Office of Student Affairs and Services, which allowed student organizations to participate and showcase their initiatives during the event.
Visitors enjoyed a variety of offerings, including freshly brewed coffee, homemade pastries and creatively designed keychains, which provided both refreshments and memorable souvenirs.
Members of both organizations handled planning, preparation and operations, demonstrating teamwork and coordination throughout the two-day activity.
“The booth became a space where students could relax, connect and enjoy the intramurals experience,” a student organizer said.
Students and participants visited the booth throughout the event, contributing to a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Organizers said the initiative also strengthened camaraderie between the CAS Social Sciences Society and the Political Science Society while promoting active student engagement.
The organizations expressed appreciation to supporters and participants who contributed to the success of the activity.
The initiative reflected the University’s core values of Unity, Service and Excellence by encouraging collaboration and active student participation in campus events. It also supported student-centered learning by providing opportunities for leadership, teamwork and creativity beyond the classroom.
