CAS Social Sciences Society helps ready campus for AUN-QA visit


Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted a Clean-Up Drive as part of its preparations for the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance program assessment set April 20-23, with the CAS Social Sciences Society helping clean key campus areas to support a more orderly and evaluation-ready environment.
Spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs and Services, the four-hour activity gathered students, faculty members and staff in a collective effort to strengthen campus cleanliness and demonstrate the University’s commitment to quality standards.
Among the active participants, the CAS Social Sciences Society took part in cleaning and organizing the Student Lounge, Kalayaan Hall, Saint Bonaventure Student Center and the Student Organization Area.
The organization’s participation highlighted its commitment to service, leadership and environmental responsibility while contributing to the University’s readiness for the AUN-QA assessment.
Organizers said the activity not only improved the physical condition of the campus but also deepened awareness of discipline, cleanliness and shared responsibility among participants.
The clean-up drive also strengthened collaboration among student organizations, offices and departments, reinforcing a spirit of volunteerism across the University community.
No expenses were incurred during the activity, reflecting the shared support and cooperation of the participants and organizers.
The activity reflected the University’s core values of Service, Unity and Excellence by encouraging students and employees to work together for a common institutional goal. It also supported outcomes-oriented education by showing students how responsibility, discipline and teamwork contribute to a quality learning environment.
