CBA Academic Circle welcomes new students during OSALubong 2026
Fostering belonging and connection among new students, the CBA Academic Circle since 1987 welcomed its newest batch of freshmen and transferees during OSALubong 2026 on July 13-14 at the Gate 4 Pathway of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.
The two-day activity introduced the incoming students to campus life as student leaders and upperclassmen gathered along the pathway to greet them and help ease their transition into a new academic environment.
The Office of Student Affairs and Services, through the Office of Student Organizations, spearheaded OSALubong as part of an annual University tradition for first-year and transferring students.
Through the activity, the new students learned about the college’s culture, student organizations and opportunities for campus involvement. They also became more familiar with the wider Envergan community before the academic year went into full swing.
The participation of the CBA Academic Circle helped create a welcoming atmosphere and encouraged freshmen and transferees to build connections and become active members of the University community.
The activity supported the University’s commitment to student-centered education by helping new students adjust to college life and discover opportunities for engagement beyond the classroom. It also reflected the core values of Unity and Service by promoting belonging, peer support and active participation in the Envergan community.
