AGHAM champions environmental advocacy; crowns Daphne Ampatin as Binibining AGHAM 2025
To promote environmental awareness, responsible leadership, and student advocacy as part of the organization's Science Month celebration, A Group Harvesting Acquired Knowledge through Scientific Method (AGHAM) brought back Binibining AGHAM 2025, AEC Little Theatre, Oct 28.
The pageant featured six candidates from different year levels and programs of the College of Education (CED), each presenting an advocacy focused on sustainability, environmental awareness, and innovation.
The competition included production, casual wear, evening gown, talent, and question-and-answer segments that allowed the candidates to demonstrate their confidence, creativity, communication skills, and commitment to their respective causes before students, faculty members, and guests.
The talent competition featured performances by Daniela Daphne Ampatin, Zairehl Dimple Obnasca, Cathlene Aventejado, Patricia Ravago, Patricia Mae De Raya, and Stephanie Pearl Arenal. Through their presentations, the candidates showcased their individual talents while reinforcing the environmental advocacies they represented.
Beyond the competition, Binibining AGHAM 2025 provided a platform for students to use their voices and talents to promote environmental awareness and inspire fellow future educators to become responsible stewards of nature. The event also strengthened participants' leadership, community involvement, and commitment to sustainable practices while celebrating Science Month.
At the conclusion of the pageant, Daniela Daphne Ampatin was crowned Binibining AGHAM 2025. Zairehl Dimple Obnasca and Stephanie Pearl Arenal were named runners-up, while special awards were presented to candidates who excelled in various competition categories.
The return of Binibining AGHAM reaffirmed AGHAM's commitment to developing future educators who embody knowledge, leadership, environmental responsibility, and service through meaningful and engaging student activities.
Binibining AGHAM 2025 reflected Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation's commitment to transformative and student-centered learning by providing future educators with opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and advocacy skills beyond the classroom. The activity also embodied the University's core values of Mindfulness, Service, Excellence, and Unity while supporting its vision of producing graduates equipped with leadership, professionalism, and a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility.
