Operations management association welcomes new CBA students
Helping new students become involved in college life, the Association of Operations Management Students participated in the College of Business and Accountancy General Orientation on July 30 to introduce its programs and opportunities to freshmen, transferees and other new students.
During the orientation, the organization presented its mission, objectives and activities for students pursuing or interested in Operations Management. The presentation familiarized attendees with the association and encouraged them to participate in its academic and student development initiatives.
Following the program, the Association of Operations Management Students distributed ballpens and sticky notes as welcome giveaways. The tokens welcomed the newest members of the College of Business and Accountancy community and reflected the organization’s commitment to supporting students throughout their academic journey.
Through its participation, the association promoted leadership, collaboration and academic engagement among Operations Management students. It also strengthened its connection with prospective members and introduced opportunities that can contribute to their personal and professional development.
The organization looks forward to welcoming new members and involving them in activities that support their growth and active participation in the college community.
The activity supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to student-centered learning by helping new students discover opportunities for academic engagement, leadership and participation beyond the classroom. It also reflected the core values of Service, Excellence and Unity by creating a welcoming environment and encouraging students to support one another throughout their University journey.
