AGHAM attends anti-drug abuse seminar; promoting safe University environment
Strengthening their awareness of laws that protect students and promote a safe university environment, the Members of A Group Harvesting Acquired Knowledge through Scientific Method (AGHAM) attended the "HANDS-UP EU: A Unified Program for Health, Abuse-Negative, Drug-Free, and Smoke-Free Enverga University" seminar at the AEC Little Theater, March 11.
The seminar featured resource speakers who discussed laws addressing human trafficking, hazing, and drug abuse. The discussions focused on the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act and the Anti-Hazing Law, highlighting their provisions and the legal protections they provide.
The activity aimed to raise awareness of the legal and health risks associated with hazing and drug abuse while encouraging participants to contribute to a safe, healthy, and drug-free campus community.
By participating in the seminar, AGHAM members gained a better understanding of the risks of hazing and drug abuse, as well as the legal rights and protections available to them. The seminar reinforced the importance of informed decision-making and responsible citizenship within the university community.
