The Fine Arts Society showcased the talent and technical skills of its artists through the Live Portrait Activity held Feb. 9 to 13, 2026, at the MSEUF Twin Court, where students created on-the-spot portraits for members of the university community.

The five-day activity allowed Fine Arts students to work in public while engaging with customers, turning the venue into an open space for creative interaction and appreciation of the arts.

Using traditional media such as watercolor, colored pencils and markers, the artists completed portraits within 15 to 20 minutes while capturing the likeness and personality of their subjects.

The activity produced numerous completed portraits and gave customers a personal keepsake of their university experience.

Beyond the finished artworks, the event helped bridge the gap between artists and the campus community by making the creative process more visible and accessible.

Through the activity, the Fine Arts Society promoted the value of traditional media and strengthened appreciation for fine arts in a digital age.

The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Excellence, Mindfulness and Unity by encouraging students to share their skills, connect with others and contribute to a vibrant campus culture. It also supported transformative and student-centered learning by giving Fine Arts students real-time opportunities to practice their craft, interact with an audience and build confidence in their artistic abilities.

  • SDG 4: Quality Education – The activity supported experiential learning and creative skills development among Fine Arts students.
  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – The live portrait sessions helped students practice artistic services, client interaction and creative entrepreneurship.
  • SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – The event promoted cultural participation and appreciation for the arts within the university community.
