EUCpESS-ICpEP welcomes newly accepted members


The Enverga University Computer Engineering Student Society-Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines conducted a two-day general assembly and welcome rites to orient newly accepted members, introduce the organization’s officers and strengthen camaraderie among computer engineering students.
The first day opened with an invocation and remarks from organization adviser Ronaldo Maaño, who introduced the new set of officers for academic year 2025-2026.
External Vice President Renz Lemuel Silang presented the organization’s accomplished activities, while President Aron Joseph Manrique discussed the constitution and bylaws.
Internal Vice President Justine Renz Ebora also presented the organization’s plans and future activities for the academic year.
In the afternoon, the newly accepted members showcased their talents and answered questions from officers and current members as part of the welcome rites.
On the second day, the new members took an examination on the history of the organization.
They were later divided into groups for activities with officers and existing members to encourage introductions and build connections, although the group activity was canceled due to time constraints.
The event proceeded with the final interview for the newly accepted members and concluded with closing remarks from the president.
Through the activity, EUCpESS-ICpEP strengthened organizational identity, leadership engagement and member participation for the new academic year.
The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Unity, Excellence and Fortitude by helping students build stronger relationships, understand organizational responsibilities and prepare for active participation in campus life. It also supported outcomes-oriented education by giving members opportunities to develop communication, leadership and teamwork skills beyond the classroom.
