EUCpESS-ICPEP joins tree planting for 79th founding anniversary

The Enverga University Computer Engineering Student Society-Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines joined a tree planting activity on Feb. 10 at the MSEUF Forest Research Site to commemorate the university’s 79th founding anniversary and promote environmental stewardship.

The activity ran from 7:30 a.m. to noon and gathered delegates from various student organizations.

Participants assembled in front of the Alumni Building before proceeding to the site in San Lorenzo, Villa Hulyana.

The initiative aimed to strengthen environmental awareness among students and encourage collective action for ecological preservation.

The reforestation effort was supported by dwarf coconut trees donated by the Philippine Coconut Authority-Quezon.

Organizers said the activity also promoted camaraderie, social responsibility and sustainability among students as part of the university’s anniversary celebration.

Through its participation, EUCpESS-ICPEP demonstrated its commitment to environmental care, institutional collaboration and community-centered action.


The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Mindfulness, Service and Unity by encouraging students to care for the environment and work together for a shared ecological purpose. It also supported outcomes-oriented education by allowing students to take part in practical sustainability efforts beyond the classroom.
