CAS Psychological Society joins campus-wide cleaning drive

The CAS Psychological Society participated in a campus-wide cleaning drive on April 16 to help prepare Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation for the AUN-QA Program Assessment scheduled April 20 to 23.
The activity was conducted under the guidance of the Office of Quality Initiatives and the Office of Student Affairs and Services.
CPS volunteers worked with other student organizations to clean and organize key areas of the university.
The organization focused on maintaining the Student Lounge, Kalayaan Hall, the St. Bonaventure Student Center and the designated Student Organizations Area.
Through the initiative, members practiced teamwork, civic responsibility and environmental care while helping provide a clean and welcoming campus environment for the upcoming international assessment.
The activity also reminded students that quality standards include not only academic processes but also the physical spaces where learning and student engagement take place.
By joining the cleaning drive, CPS strengthened its sense of ownership, solidarity and responsibility in maintaining a cleaner, greener and more professional university community.
The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Mindfulness, Service and Unity by encouraging students to care for shared campus spaces and work together toward institutional readiness. It also supported outcomes-oriented education by giving students practical opportunities to demonstrate responsibility, teamwork and environmental awareness beyond the classroom.
- SDG 4: Quality Education – The initiative supported a clean and organized learning environment for students and the university community.
- SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – The activity promoted care for shared spaces and contributed to a safer, cleaner campus.
- SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production – The cleaning drive encouraged proper waste management and responsible use of campus facilities.
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – The activity showed collaboration among OQI, OSAS and student organizations in supporting university quality initiatives.
