EUCpESS-ICpEP joins annual formal acceptance program

The Enverga University Computer Engineering Student Society-Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines joined the annual formal acceptance program on Oct. 10, at the MSEUF Gymnasium to welcome and recognize newly accepted members.

The event, held from 2 to 11 p.m., opened with an invocation and opening remarks before proceeding to the recognition of student achievers.

An awarding ceremony honored dean’s listers who earned and sustained a general weighted average of 1.5 or better.

Old and new members of the CEng DSC were also recognized during the program.

More than 30 newly accepted members of EUCpESS-ICpEP took their oath as official members of the organization and received certificates recognizing their willingness and commitment to join the group.

The program also featured a variety show, where eight organizations performed pieces that highlighted student life and current issues.

The newly accepted members of EUCpESS-ICpEP also performed during the show and helped represent the organization before the university community.

EUCpESS-ICpEP placed fifth in the variety show, while one of its newly accepted members received the best-dressed award.

Through the activity, the organization strengthened camaraderie, recognized student excellence and encouraged active participation among new and existing members.


The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Excellence, Unity and Fortitude by recognizing academic achievement, strengthening student organization membership and encouraging confident participation in campus life. It also supported outcomes-oriented education by giving students opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, communication and performance skills beyond the classroom.
