CCJC First Responders participated in a Fire Brigade Training on April 17 at the CCJC Department of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation to strengthen safety awareness, emergency preparedness and fire response skills within the academic community.

The activity provided participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention, fire suppression and emergency response procedures.

Through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on exercises, participants learned the proper use of firefighting equipment, basic fire control techniques and evacuation procedures.

The training also emphasized teamwork, coordination, discipline and communication during fire-related emergencies.

The activity enhanced participants’ competence and confidence in responding to fire incidents and simulated emergency situations.

Through the training, the university reinforced a culture of preparedness and safety, helping build a more capable and responsive academic community.

The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Service, Mindfulness and Fortitude by encouraging students to stay ready to assist during emergencies, act responsibly in fire-related situations and develop confidence under pressure. It also supported outcomes-oriented education by giving participants practical, skills-based learning in safety and disaster preparedness.
