Seminar promotes cyber safety, HIV awareness among students

A seminar on cyber safety, sexual health and HIV awareness was conducted on April 8, at EMRC 6A of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation to promote responsible behavior, personal safety and informed decision-making among students.
The activity addressed pressing social, digital and health-related issues affecting students, including cybercrime, cyberbullying, cybersex harassment, sex education and HIV awareness.
Expert speakers facilitated the discussions and provided participants with a safe and interactive learning environment.
The seminar emphasized the risks and consequences of unsafe online practices, the importance of digital responsibility and the need for proactive health management.
Participants also underwent free and confidential HIV testing as part of the initiative, reinforcing the value of early detection, prevention and responsible health choices.
Through the activity, students strengthened their awareness of cyber-related risks and public health concerns while contributing to a more informed, responsible and health-conscious academic community.
The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Service, Mindfulness and Fortitude by promoting community education, health advocacy and responsible conduct in digital and personal spaces. It also supported outcomes-oriented education by empowering students to respond to social, health and cyber-related challenges with awareness, courage and responsibility.
