The CCJC First Responders, Criminology Martial Arts Society and Juris Peritus Criminis conducted “She Matters: Women’s Wellness and Hygiene Drive” on March 26, at the BJMP Lucena Female Dormitory to promote women’s health, dignity and well-being in celebration of Women’s Month.

The community extension initiative provided female persons deprived of liberty with hygiene kits and information on proper hygiene practices and self-care.

Through the activity, student volunteers extended direct support to marginalized women while promoting compassion, service and social responsibility.

The program also helped address basic hygiene needs and encouraged greater awareness of women’s health and personal care.

Beyond the distribution of hygiene kits, the initiative fostered empathy, teamwork and civic responsibility among the participating student organizations.

Through the outreach, the groups strengthened their commitment to serving vulnerable communities and supporting programs that uphold dignity and wellness.

The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Service, Mindfulness and Fortitude by encouraging students to extend care to marginalized individuals, recognize women’s needs and remain committed to serving vulnerable communities. It also supported transformative learning by giving students meaningful opportunities to practice empathy, teamwork and social responsibility beyond the classroom.
