Developing students’ creativity, branding and digital marketing competencies, the Junior Marketing Association conducted “JMA Creative Clash: Design. Promote. Inspire.” on Aug. 24 through Google Forms.
The online competition invited students to submit original entries in three categories: lanyard design, organization shirt design and promotional video. Participants developed materials intended to communicate the identity, values and pride of the Junior Marketing Association and the college community.
Through the competition, students applied concepts in branding, visual communication and digital content creation while transforming their ideas into promotional materials. The activity also provided an avenue for participants to demonstrate creativity and explore practical applications of marketing-related skills.
The submitted works offered the organization original concepts that may support future promotional campaigns and organizational activities. The competition also encouraged participants to consider how design and content can contribute to a consistent and recognizable organizational identity.
Beyond producing promotional materials, Creative Clash strengthened students’ creative problem-solving and digital communication skills while encouraging greater involvement in JMA initiatives.
Through the online competition, JMA provided students with an experiential platform to connect marketing concepts with creative production and organizational branding.
The activity supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to learning by doing and student-centered education by allowing students to apply branding, design and digital content skills in a practical competition. It also reflected the core values of Excellence and Unity by encouraging creativity, active participation and shared organizational identity.
- SDG 4: Quality Education — The competition provided experiential learning opportunities in branding, visual communication and digital content creation.
- SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure — The activity encouraged students to develop creative and digital solutions that reflect skills relevant to contemporary marketing and communication practice.
