MSEUF opens AY 2025–2026 with Banderitas and Osalubong celebration
Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation held the Banderitas and Osalubong Event to warmly welcome students for Academic Year 2025–2026, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere as the new school year began.
Colorful banderitas were displayed at the university entrance, transforming the campus into a bright and inviting space for students, faculty members, and guests. Organizers said the decorations were meant to help students feel welcomed and excited as they returned to campus.
The highlight of the project was the Osalubong event, where different student organizations worked together to greet incoming and returning students. The MSEUF Wildcats Cheer Squad led the parade from the Criminology Building to the Gymnasium, symbolizing unity and strong school spirit. Although only a limited number of cheer squad members participated, their enthusiasm and commitment were evident throughout the activity.
During the program, the MSEUF Wildcats Cheer Squad also performed a dance together with the UCSCs, adding energy and excitement to the celebration. The joint performance highlighted teamwork, cooperation, and the strong bond among student organizations.
Organizers said the Banderitas and Osalubong Event successfully strengthened collaboration among student groups, promoted school pride, and set a positive tone for the academic year. The activity reaffirmed the University’s commitment to fostering a welcoming and supportive campus community from the very start of the school year.
The activity supports the University’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by creating a welcoming environment that helps students feel valued and connected to the campus community. It reflects the core values of Unity through collaboration among student organizations, Service by warmly welcoming students, Mindfulness by nurturing a positive campus atmosphere, and Excellence through organized and meaningful student-led initiatives.
