To discuss best practices and strengthen program implementation for adult learners, Marinduque State University (MarSU) conducted an Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) benchmarking visit at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF), Dec. 1.
The hybrid session brought together academic leaders from both institutions for a collaborative exchange on the ETEEAP.
MarSU President Diosdado Zulueta joined the meeting online, while the onsite delegation convened at the IGSR Conference Room.
MarSU's onsite representatives included Vice President for Academic Affairs Leodegario Jalos, College of Governance Dean Keam Eric Malabayabas, University Registrar Gemma Tirol, College of Industrial Technology Dean Marlo Mascareñas, and College of Engineering Dean Melito Hirondo.
MSEUF’s ETEEAP team was represented by Executive Vice President and VP for Academics and Research Benilda Villenas; College of Arts and Sciences Dean Claudia Ayala; College of Computing and Multimedia Studies Dean Rodrigo Belleza; College of Engineering Dean Cielito Maligalig; College of Criminal Justice and Criminology Dean Henedina Lagumen; College of Education Dean Divinia Glifonea; and Global Engagement Office Director Jennifer Reyes.
The benchmarking session featured discussions on program management, equivalency processes, quality assurance mechanisms, and best practices in delivering flexible, outcomes-based education for adult learners.
Both universities underscored their shared commitment to accessible, industry-responsive, and high-quality academic pathways through ETEEAP.
The collaboration reflects MSEUF’s dedication to Service and Excellence by improving pathways that support working professionals and adult learners. It demonstrates Unity and Mindfulness as both institutions work together to refine responsive, outcomes-based, and inclusive education strategies.
