The College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (CIHTM) of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) proudly takes part in the 14-day Tourism International Sustainable Study and Mobility Program hosted by Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU) in Thailand, May 26-June 8.
Two Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) students, Kirstine Faith Asilo and Shairine Joyce Catapang, along with two Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management – Culinary Arts (BSHM-CA) students, Clark Nathan Rañola and Chinee Marie Alonso represented MSEUF. Accompanying them is Dr. Jennifer B. Reyes, Practicum Adviser and Officer-in-Charge of Special Internationalization Projects.
This program is designed to enrich students’ global perspective and deepen their understanding of sustainable tourism practices. Mr. Yanjun Xia, International Relations Officer of HCU, welcomed the delegates and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to promoting educational diversity, multicultural learning, and strong international partnerships.
Throughout the two-week immersion, MSEUF students will explore Thailand’s rich cultural heritage through visits to historical landmarks and temples, participate in local community activities, and experience authentic Thai cuisine and hospitality.
- This international mobility experience reflects MSEUF’s ongoing commitment to providing globally competitive education and meaningful learning opportunities beyond the classroom—preparing Envergans to be responsible global citizens and future leaders in sustainable tourism.
- This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by promoting inclusive, cross-cultural learning and reinforcing global cooperation through international academic programs.
