MSEUF renews partnership with INTI International University Malaysia
MALAYSIA — Reaffirming its commitment to internationalization through collaborative research, student mobility, and global academic engagement, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) renewed its academic partnership with INTI International University, May 13.
A delegation from MSEUF visited INTI campuses to initiate talks on strengthening and expanding the partnership. The delegates included Atty. Dario Opistan, Vice President for Administration; Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala, Assistant to the Vice President for Academics and Research; Dr. Felixberto Mercado, Dean of the DCAV Research and Knowledge Management Institute; and Dr. Jennifer Reyes, Officer-in-Charge of Special Internationalization Projects.
On Day 1 of the visit, the MSEUF delegation engaged in strategic meetings with INTI leaders, including Dr. Choo Wou Onn; Prof. Dr. Goh Kang Wen, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Global Engagement; and Prof. Dr. Cheng Wan Hee, Director of the Global Ranking & Institutional Advancement Centre.
“Our renewed partnership opens the door to new academic opportunities for both faculty and students,” Dr. Ayala said. “It also strengthens our alignment with MSEUF’s long-term vision of becoming a globally competitive university.”
The discussions focused on joint academic programs, faculty and student exchanges, and future collaborative research projects. Both universities agreed to explore initiatives that support innovation and global best practices in higher education.
“The university remains firm in its pursuit of excellence through strategic international alliances,” said Atty. Opistan. “We believe that these partnerships foster growth not only in academics but also in intercultural understanding and global leadership.”
- The partnership renewal is part of MSEUF’s broader internationalization initiative under its EU FLIGHT framework, which supports global harmonization, innovation, and transition in education.
