To strengthen academic exchange, research cooperation and mobility opportunities, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation expanded its international academic network through a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony, university visit and benchmarking activity at Dayeh University in Changhua County, Taiwan, May 5.

The international engagement brought together Philippine partner institutions, including Urdaneta City University, Holy Name University, Golden State College and MSEUF. The Philippine delegation included 14 participants composed of university officials, directors, faculty members and students.

Dayeh University welcomed the delegates at the Taichung High-Speed Rail Station before they proceeded to the campus for the formal program. University administrators and representatives received the delegation at the executive conference room.

The program included an introduction of participating universities, where each institution shared its commitment to academic excellence and internationalization. Jennifer Reyes, director of the Global Engagement Office, represented MSEUF and expressed appreciation to Dayeh University, together with representatives from other Philippine universities.

The ceremonial signing of the memorandum of understanding served as the highlight of the visit. The agreement aims to strengthen international collaboration through academic exchange, research cooperation, benchmarking activities, faculty and student mobility programs and future institutional partnerships.

The ceremony also included an exchange of university tokens, symbolizing friendship and mutual commitment to global education.

In the afternoon, Dayeh University facilitated a benchmarking session and campus tour for the Philippine delegates. Participants visited university facilities, including the Office of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Sports and Health Management, where they learned about Dayeh University’s academic programs, student services and internationalization initiatives.

The participation of Philippine higher education institutions in the MOU signing reflected their continuing commitment to raising the standards of Philippine education through global collaboration, academic benchmarking and internationally aligned learning opportunities for students and faculty.

The engagement aligned with Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s vision of becoming a globally competitive university and its mission of offering responsive programs supportive of global excellence. It also reflected the core values of Excellence, Unity and Fortitude as MSEUF pursued international partnerships that support academic growth, mobility and institutional development.
