CMIDE staff serves as judge at Quezon agritourism summit

Supporting local initiatives in agricultural innovation and agritourism, Center for Marketing Innovation and Digital Engagement staff member Arielle Dimalaluan represented Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation as an invited judge during “Likhaang Niyogyugan: 1st Quezon Agritourism Summit 2026” on Aug. 18 at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City.

The Quezon Provincial Tourism Office organized the summit with the theme “Strengthening the Quezon Coconut Industry through Agritourism and Value-Added Enterprises.” The activity recognized and showcased coconut-related products, farming practices, digital promotions and agritourism initiatives from stakeholders across Quezon Province.

As part of the judging panel, Dimalaluan evaluated entries in several categories, including Coconut Product Display, Best Coconut Model Farm, Best Vlog on Coconut Farming System, Best Agritourism Farm and Best in Agritourism Farm Promotion.

Her participation contributed to the assessment of entries that highlighted innovation, farm management, product development, digital storytelling and tourism promotion within the coconut industry.

The summit also provided MSEUF with an opportunity to support a provincial initiative that connects agriculture, tourism and entrepreneurship while strengthening its engagement with local government and community stakeholders.

Through Dimalaluan’s participation, the University contributed to efforts that promote innovation, visibility and value creation within Quezon’s coconut and agritourism sectors.

The activity supported the University’s community service function by contributing expertise to a provincial initiative focused on agriculture, tourism and local enterprise development.
