CBA produces 11 new CPAs in May 2025 boards

LUCENA CITY, Philippines — The College of Business and Accountancy of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation announced its May 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants passers.

The new CPAs are Louise Justine Y. Abrigo, Lalaine P. Alcantara, Kristine Jade R. Anareta, Salve Regina B. Briones, Jhun Patrick C. Escasa, Precious Joy A. Esperanza, Genre Miguel S. Gabatan, Angelo T. Mercado, Mariella E. Perlas, Maxine L. Reforma, and Mandy Joyce A. Samar.

With a 47.83% overall passing rate and a 52.94% first-taker passing rate, the college maintained its standing as the biggest producer of CPAs in Quezon Province.

Dr. Flormando Baldovino, dean of the College of Business and Accountancy, recognized the passers for their performance in the examination. “Passing the CPA licensure examination requires discipline and preparation,” Dr. Baldovino said. “Their results reflect the rigorous training they received at the college and their commitment to the accounting profession.”

The college linked this achievement to Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) by ensuring accessible and relevant accounting education, 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by producing qualified professionals for the labor market, and 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by contributing to the pool of ethical and competent accounting practitioners.
