The College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Lucena South II Elementary School in Barangay Cotta, Lucena City, Sept. 29.

This activity aims to establish partnership for the CBA Community Extension Services (CES) activities. Under this agreement, the Grade 6 pupils of Lucena South II Elementary School will be adopted as beneficiaries of the CBA’s future CES initiatives focusing on education, leadership development, and community engagement.

Present during the signing were Dr. Flormando P. Baldovino, CBA Dean; Dr. Maria Teresa M. Hidalgo, CBA professor and DSC Adviser; Prof. Maria Lucila M. Pedegloria, CES Coordinator and Chair of the Accountancy Department; and Mr. Jefferson R. Alojado, Principal of South II Elementary School. Various CBA student leaders also attended the event to represent the college’s commitment to social involvement.

The agreement set a rollout of mentoring, literacy support, leadership camps and service-learning activities led by faculty and student volunteers.

“This partnership lets our students apply learning by doing while helping young learners build skills and confidence,” Baldovino said.

Alojado added, “Our Grade 6 pupils will gain mentoring, values formation and practical learning that extend beyond the classroom.”

This initiative advanced MSEUF’s mission and outcomes-oriented, student-centered learning by linking coursework with real community needs. It reflected the core values of Service and Unity through school–community collaboration and Excellence by committing to measurable learning gains for both mentors and pupils.
