The College of Business and Accountancy at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in Lucena City announced in July 2025 that Carmina Joy Arban and Ayla Myr Balmes earned National Certified Bookkeeper credentials after months of targeted review and competency drills to strengthen professional readiness.

CBA credited the pair’s focus on accounting fundamentals, payroll, taxation and compliance simulations integrated into coursework and coaching. Faculty said the results affirmed the college’s push for practice-based training and credentialing pathways aligned with industry needs.

“Our new National Certified Bookkeepers showed discipline and accuracy that employers value,” said CBA dean Dr. Flormando Baldovino. “Their success raises the bar for our accounting cohort and proves that consistent preparation delivers professional results.”

The college invited interested students to join upcoming review classes and peer mentoring sessions for the next certification window.

This milestone advanced MSEUF’s mission to deliver outcomes-oriented, student-centered learning by aligning classroom practice with professional standards and measurable credentials. It reflected the core values of Excellence and Fortitude through rigorous preparation, and Service as graduates apply sound bookkeeping to support organizations and communities.
