The Office of the Vice President for External Relations (OVPER) at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) typically manages relationships with external entities, fosters partnerships, and oversees global engagement initiatives. This office often plays a crucial role in alumni relations and collaboration with agencies, businesses, and organizations, and on some occasions - fundraising. It focuses on expanding the university’s influence, reputation, and impact beyond its campus through strategic partnerships and global outreach programs.

 

Under the VPER office are the different departments with specific responsibilities as follows:
Institutional Marketing and Promotions (IMP)
•    Manages the university’s public image and marketing strategies.
•    Promotes academic programs, events, and achievements on the local, regional, national, and international stage.
•    Emphasizes the university’s contributions to SDGs in marketing materials and campaigns, including integrating green practices, and fostering environmental responsibility and awareness both locally and globally.
•    Develop international marketing strategies to attract global students and enhance the university’s international reputation.
 
Community Relations Department (CRD)
•    Coordinates university activities with the local community and collaborates on community projects that directly contribute to SDGs, such as poverty alleviation and community well-being.
•    Develop partnerships and engage in global community outreach projects.
•    Collaborates with international organizations to address global issues and promote social responsibility.
•    Acts as the general consultative body in formulating plans, directions, and other activities for the community extension service of the university.
•     Assists the Office of the Vice President for External Relations in the implementation and evaluation of the community extension service projects.
•    Recommends improvement plans for the National Service Training Program.

Office of Scholarships and Endowment, Job Placement, Alumni Relations (OSEJPAR)
•    Administers scholarship programs for students including alumni-sponsored grants living abroad to attract diverse talent.
•    Facilitates job placement services for graduates including international job placements through global partnerships.
•    Connects with alumni worldwide, cultivates relationships, fosters a global network to support international initiatives, and manages the university’s endowment.
•    Supports alumni-led sustainable development projects through networking and resources.
 
Office of Sports and Cultural Relations (OSCR)
•    Oversees sports programs and relations with athletic organizations and promotes cultural events and collaborations within the university community.
•    Participates in local, regional, national, and international sports events and competitions, and promotes cultural exchanges and collaborations with international institutions.
•    Organizes sports events that promote health and well-being, aligning with SDG 3, and promotes cultural events that celebrate diversity and inclusivity, contributing to SDG 10.

 

Office of International Linkages (Partnership and Global Engagement)
•    Coordinates international partnerships and collaborations.
•    Manages international exchange programs, welcoming students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
•    Ensures international collaborations and exchange programs address SDGs.
•    Promotes research and academic initiatives that contribute to solving global challenges outlined in the SDGs.
