College of Engineering welcomes students through CENG Orientation 2026


Introducing the college's academic programs, faculty members, student organizations and professional opportunities to help students prepare for their academic journey, the College of Engineering of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation welcomed freshmen and continuing engineering students during the CENG Orientation 2026.
The orientation provided participants with essential information about the curriculum, academic requirements and expectations for each engineering program. Students also met the dean and faculty members who will guide them throughout their studies, helping them become more familiar with the college's academic leadership.
As part of the program, engineering student organizations participated in a booth-design competition, where each organization showcased its specialties, programs and activities. The Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines–Quezon Student Chapter (GEP-QSC) featured surveying instruments, including a Total Station and a drone, to demonstrate both traditional and modern technologies used in geodetic engineering. The organization also displayed and sold merchandise to promote the Geodetic Engineering program among incoming students.
The College of Engineering also partnered with KARCE, which invited a guest speaker to share professional knowledge, industry experiences and insights designed to inspire and prepare students for future careers in engineering.
The orientation helped students gain a clearer understanding of the college's curriculum, academic expectations and available opportunities. It also introduced freshmen to student organizations, encouraged campus involvement and strengthened connections within the engineering community. Through the booth exhibits and industry-sharing session, participants learned more about different engineering disciplines while gaining motivation to pursue both academic excellence and professional development.
CENG Orientation 2026 supports Manuel S.
