The MSEUF Fashion Show: Appliqué 2025 showcased student creativity and sustainable design during a runway event held at the CAFA building hallway, featuring works by Fine Arts and UAPSA students.

The fashion show highlighted numerous original designs, with featured designers Paul Obnamia and Nikolai Tadiosa exclusively premiering their collections on the runway. Their pieces reflected Etruscan, Greek, and Roman motifs, aligning with this year’s classical theme while demonstrating contemporary interpretations through upcycled clothing.

Designers transformed pre-used materials into new garments, emphasizing sustainability and innovation in fashion. Organizers said the use of upcycled clothing not only showcased artistic craftsmanship but also promoted environmental awareness within the creative process.

Models from different academic departments participated in the runway show after being selected through the Appliqué Casting. Designers personally chose models based on runway walk and overall presence. Fashion influencers from the creative industry were also invited to walk selected pieces, adding industry exposure to the student-led event.

The runway atmosphere was further enhanced by the presence of local photographers from both within and outside the campus, capturing the designs and contributing to the vibrant creative environment of the show.

Appliqué 2025 reflects Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to Excellence and Innovation by providing students with a platform to apply their artistic skills in a professional setting. It demonstrates Mindfulness through sustainable fashion practices, Unity by bringing together students from various departments, and Service by promoting responsible and creative expression within the academic community.
