LUCENA CITY, Philippines — The Enverga University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants conducted “One Page at a Time: An EUJPIA’s Mini Library Initiative” on March 6 at Lucena South II Elementary School to promote literacy and provide young learners with access to diverse reading materials.

Led by the organization’s Community Extension Services department, the outreach activity gathered 12 EUJPIA members who helped distribute books and support the establishment of a mini library for the school.

The initiative aimed to encourage continuous learning, creativity and reading appreciation among pupils. Through the project, beneficiaries gained opportunities to explore books, develop reading habits and strengthen their interest in learning.

Organizers said the activity reflected EUJPIA’s commitment to extending learning beyond the classroom and supporting educational development in the community.

The project also fostered a stronger sense of service among student participants as they worked together to support literacy and intellectual growth among young learners.

Through the mini library initiative, EUJPIA helped create a meaningful learning space that encourages curiosity, imagination and community support for education.

The initiative reflected MSEUF’s mission of community service by encouraging students to support educational development beyond the university. It also upheld the core values of Service, Mindfulness and Unity as EUJPIA members worked together to promote literacy and help young learners gain better access to reading materials.
