EUJPIA promotes literacy through mini library outreach


LUCENA CITY, Philippines — The Enverga University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, through its Community Extension Services department, spearheaded “One Page at a Time: An EUJPIA’s Mini Library Initiative” on March 6, 2026, at Lucena South II Elementary School to promote literacy, continuous learning and access to reading materials among young learners.
The outreach project provided students with accessible and diverse books that supported intellectual enrichment and reading development.
Through the initiative, EUJPIA reinforced its commitment to empowering young learners and helping foster a culture of education, creativity and collective growth within the community.
Beneficiaries were encouraged to explore reading materials and develop a deeper appreciation for learning. The activity also helped stimulate creativity, curiosity and literacy among the pupils.
Beyond the distribution of books, the project strengthened community engagement through knowledge sharing and educational support. It also gave EUJPIA members an opportunity to practice service and social responsibility beyond the classroom.
The mini library initiative reflected the organization’s dedication to supporting education and creating meaningful learning opportunities for young students in the community.
The initiative reflected MSEUF’s mission of community service by encouraging students to help improve access to education for young learners. It also upheld the core values of Service, Mindfulness and Unity as EUJPIA members worked together to support literacy, creativity and lifelong learning.
