The Enverga Bar Flippers designed and managed a hospitality-themed booth during the 79th Foundation Anniversary celebration at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation to showcase the best of CIHTM hospitality while strengthening service, teamwork and student engagement.

As the university marked its 79th founding anniversary, the campus became a hub of unity and school spirit. Amid the celebration, EBF was invited to create and operate a premier themed booth that reflected the creativity, professionalism and service-oriented identity of the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management.

The booth became one of the event’s standout attractions, drawing students, faculty members and guests through its creative layout and signature refreshments. Its strong reception highlighted the organization’s ability to combine hospitality skills with an engaging and welcoming presentation.

Beyond the celebration, the activity served as a practical training ground for EBF members. By handling booth operations from setup to service, members strengthened their skills in beverage preparation, customer service and communication in a fast-paced campus setting.

The project also deepened camaraderie among members as they worked together to manage responsibilities and represent the organization during one of the university’s major annual events. Through the experience, EBF reinforced its role as a student organization committed to excellence in service and active participation in university life.

Overall, the activity benefited both EBF members and the university community by creating an engaging booth experience while giving students valuable hands-on learning in hospitality operations.

The activity reflected MSEUF’s commitment to learning by doing and student-centered education by allowing students to apply hospitality skills in a real event setting. It also upheld the core values of Excellence, Unity and Service as EBF members worked together to represent CIHTM and contribute to a meaningful university celebration.

  • SDG 4: Quality Education — The booth provided experiential learning in hospitality service, event operations and customer engagement.
  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth — The activity helped students develop work-ready skills in service, communication and beverage preparation.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — The event strengthened collaboration among EBF members and the wider university community in celebrating a shared institutional milestone.
