The Criminology Martial Arts Society of the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted a team-building activity on Jan. 16, at the CCJC DT Room to strengthen unity, teamwork and camaraderie among members, officers, alumni and advisers.

The event brought together participants in a setting that encouraged interaction, reflection and collaboration, allowing members to share personal experiences and insights from their journey in the organization.

CMAS President John Raven Cabana led the program with officers under the guidance of advisers Myracel Jus-Ramos and Sehdrix Urciana.

Alumni Rose Anne Tadiosa, Kaissser Brosas, Ullyses Ranas and Erick Estellar attended and supported the activity, along with sponsors Fergelyn Canonigo and Ronald Rivera.

“This gathering reminded us that CMAS is more than an organization—it is a family built on unity and shared purpose,” a student officer said.

The activity also included recognition of officers for school year 2024-2025, awards for outstanding members and presenters and a simple celebration of members’ birthdays, promoting appreciation and inclusivity within the group.

Organizers said the program strengthened connections among members and reinforced a sense of belonging within the organization.

The activity reflected the University’s core values of Unity, Mindfulness and Fortitude by fostering strong relationships, mutual respect and shared purpose among students. It also supported student-centered learning by promoting leadership, teamwork and personal growth through meaningful engagement.

  • SDG 4 – Quality Education: The activity supported holistic development through leadership and teamwork experiences.
  • SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being: Strengthening social connections contributed to students’ emotional well-being.
  • SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: Building unity and collaboration promotes a positive and inclusive academic environment.
