PSME MSEUF-SU builds connections; welcomes freshmen in OSAlubong
As for the official welcome event for Academic Year 2026–2027, the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers - Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation Student Unit (PSME MSEUF-SU) participated in OSAlubong 2026, Dean’s Office of the College of Engineering, July 13-14.
Organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), OSALUBONG 2026 welcomed incoming students as they began their university journey and introduced them to the opportunities, organizations, and activities available within the College of Engineering.
PSME MSEUF-SU featured an interactive booth that introduced the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program through games, a themed photobooth, and hands-on learning activities. The booth provided freshmen with an engaging way to learn more about mechanical engineering while connecting with current student leaders and organization members.
Aside from hosting activities, PSME members assisted new students by serving as guides and an information desk. They helped freshmen locate classrooms and answered inquiries about engineering programs and campus life.
The activity attracted more than 100 participants who joined the games, explored interactive mechanism displays, and learned more about the Mechanical Engineering program and the organization. Through its participation, PSME MSEUF-SU strengthened its efforts to promote academic engagement, student involvement, and community building within the College of Engineering.
The organization continues to provide opportunities that support learning, leadership, and professional development among future mechanical engineers throughout the academic year.
The participation of PSME MSEUF-SU in OSALUBONG 2026 supports Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to student-centered learning by creating opportunities for students to engage, collaborate, and apply their knowledge beyond the classroom. The activity reflects the university’s core values of Service and Unity through student-led efforts that welcome and support new members of the Envergan community.
The initiative also contributes to Enverga University’s vision of developing graduates with research-based knowledge, leadership skills, and professionalism through meaningful academic and organizational experiences.
