SCAPE team-building strengthens camaraderie among education students

Strengthening camaraderie, teamwork and belonging among new and returning members, SCAPE of the College of Education at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation held a team-building activity that featured games, year-level performances, a motivational talk, fellowship, shared meals and a Zumba session.
The activity took place Aug. 15 at the Enverga University Swimming Pool and involved 70 members from first year to fourth year, with particular focus on first- and second-year students as part of their orientation and engagement with the organization.
Participants engaged in team-building games that promoted cooperation and communication and watched talent presentations by the first- and second-year students. The performances allowed students to showcase their abilities while strengthening group cohesion.
Sir Jude Calvin Cordero, founder of the SCAPE program, delivered a talk during the event, and Mr. Kevin S. Amo and Mr. Melvin J. Hernandez, SCAPE advisers, provided guidance and support throughout the activities.
Organizers also scheduled fellowship activities, shared meals and a group Zumba session to promote interaction, physical wellness and a sense of belonging among members.
The advisers supported the plan and execution of the program, ensuring that new members became familiar with SCAPE and that all participants had opportunities to interact, lead and collaborate.
The team-building activity reinforced the University’s focus on student-centered learning and community engagement by cultivating teamwork, leadership and a supportive organizational culture among education students. It also supported students’ holistic development by combining interpersonal, creative and physical activities.
