Geodetic engineering group engages freshmen at General Orientation 2026

Introducing first-year students to geodetic engineering and campus involvement, the Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines–Quezon Student Chapter participated in General Orientation 2026 at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation Gymnasium.

The morning activity officially welcomed freshmen from the University’s different academic programs and introduced them to institutional policies, academic expectations, student services and campus organizations to help them adjust to college life.

Student organizations established interactive booths outside the gymnasium to showcase their programs, fields of expertise, equipment and activities. Several groups also conducted games and offered official merchandise to engage incoming students.

The Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines–Quezon Student Chapter featured surveying instruments, informative displays and interactive activities at its booth. Members engaged with freshmen and provided an overview of the Geodetic Engineering program and profession.

Through hands-on demonstrations and games, incoming students gained a better understanding of geodetic engineering and the practical applications of surveying equipment. The activity also strengthened the organization’s visibility and connection with current and prospective members.

General Orientation 2026 encouraged freshmen to explore the different opportunities available on campus and become active participants in student organizations and University activities.

The activity supported the University’s commitment to student-centered and experiential learning by introducing freshmen to academic programs and student development opportunities through interactive engagement. It also reflected the core values of Unity and Excellence by promoting campus involvement, professional awareness and stronger connections among members of the University community.
