Promoting environmental responsibility, teamwork and volunteerism, the CCJC First Responders joined fellow student organizations in “Kalinisan, Kahandaan Tungo sa Kaunlaran,” a preparation activity for Nutrition Month organized by the CCJC Student Council.

The activity focused on cleaning and preparing the designated planting area for an upcoming vegetable planting activity. Participants also established planting beds to ensure that the site was ready for cultivation.

The CCJC First Responders worked with the CCJC Student Council, Juris Peritus Criminis and the Criminology Martial Arts Society to complete the site preparation through coordinated efforts.

The initiative gave students an opportunity to practice teamwork, volunteerism and community involvement while helping create a suitable space for sustainable gardening activities within the college.

The participating organizations’ collective efforts supported the Nutrition Month celebration and promoted awareness of environmental responsibility and sustainable food initiatives within the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation community.

The activity supported the University’s commitment to student-centered and experiential learning by allowing students to apply teamwork, leadership and service through a meaningful campus initiative. It also reflected the core values of Service, Unity and Mindfulness by encouraging collaboration, volunteerism and care for the environment.

  • SDG 2: Zero Hunger — The preparation of a vegetable planting area supported sustainable food production and Nutrition Month initiatives.
