In support of Zumbook 2025: “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa,” A Group Harvesting Acquired Knowledge through Scientific Method (AGHAM) donated more than 10 educational books in partnership with LIB.COM, Aug 15.

The initiative encouraged individuals, organizations, and partner institutions to donate educational books and instructional materials that would be provided to libraries across the province. In exchange for their donations, participants received tickets to join a Zumba program organized by LIB.COM at the CEFI FORVM Gym of Calayan Educational Foundation Inc.

Through the activity, AGHAM promoted its belief that “education must be open to all” by supporting efforts to make educational resources more accessible to communities. The initiative also encouraged the responsible reuse of educational materials by giving books a renewed purpose instead of discarding them.

AGHAM’s participation highlighted the organization’s commitment to promoting literacy, education, and community involvement. The organization also expressed its intention to continue its partnership with LIB.COM in future initiatives.

The initiative reflects Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to community service by supporting programs that expand access to educational resources. It also demonstrates the university’s core values of Service and Unity by encouraging students to participate in collaborative efforts that promote literacy, social responsibility, and meaningful engagement with partner communities.

SDG 4: Quality Education
The book donation initiative supported inclusive education by helping provide educational resources and instructional materials to libraries across the province.

SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
By encouraging the reuse and redistribution of educational materials, the activity promoted responsible resource use and reduced unnecessary disposal of usable books.

SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
The collaboration between AGHAM and LIB.COM demonstrated the importance of partnerships in implementing community-based initiatives that support education and literacy.
