RPIUC Launches Micro-Training Sessions with Esteemed Mentors

The Research Publication, Incubation, and Utilization Center (RPIUC) has officially kicked-off its first micro-training session on November 24, 2023, marking the beginning of a collaborative and multidisciplinary academic endeavor. The event featured esteemed mentors, Dr. Ronaldo Maaño and Prof. Jahzeel L. Sarmiento, who facilitated the initial session with participants and attendees representing the College of Education, the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology, the College of Maritime Education, and the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies.

These micro-training sessions are strategically designed to provide an adaptive solution to accommodate the varying schedules and availability of faculty members, ensuring inclusive participation and optimal engagement. By integrating innovative pedagogical approaches, the program seeks to equip participants with the competencies required to address contemporary challenges within their respective fields.

The launch of this initiative represents a pivotal milestone in fostering interdisciplinary engagement and promoting academic excellence at RPIUC. By encouraging meaningful interactions and shared learning experiences, the program is anticipated to yield a lasting impact on both faculty and students. Furthermore, it underscores the institution’s commitment to positioning itself as a leader in educational innovation and research-driven initiatives.


On November 30, 2023, Day 2 of the microtraining session, the College of Engineering and the College of Architecture and Fine Arts united to highlight the spirit of collaboration within the institution. Faculty and staff from both colleges engaged in activities that reinforced the Envergan mission and vision.

Special thanks to Prof. Maria Cecilia Jalbuena for emphasizing the importance of teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her inspiring message set the tone for an event focused on shared growth and success.

The active participation of everyone was vital in strengthening bonds between the two colleges and advancing institutional excellence, paving the way for future collaborative initiatives.


The first day of December marks a transformative occasion for the College of Business and Accountancy, the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology, the Basic Education Department, and the Office of Student Affairs and Services as the 3rd microtraining session continues. With the festive Christmas spirit in the air, Dr. Esteve Adrian Estiva and Dr. Ronaldo C. Maano highlighted the importance of taking small steps toward achieving success.

Their message reminded everyone that the collective involvement of faculty, staff, and students is key to advancing Envergan's mission and ensuring global competitiveness. As the year closes, this day serves as a renewed commitment to progress and excellence within the Envergan community.
