MSEUF joins WURI global conference '25 in South Korea

The Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) participated in the recently concluded WURI Global Conference (WGC) 2025 held in Tongmyong University, Busan, South Korea, Sept. 24-26.

Representing MSEUF were Office of Scholarship Endowment, Job Placement and Alumni Relations Relations (OSEJPAR) Director Maria Isabel Granada and Acting Internal Auditor Czharina Grace Reyes, where Dir. Granada engaged in sessions for experts focused on institutional branding, external relations, and stakeholder communication while Ms. Reyes  joined discussions on leaders accountability, risk management, and innovation.

Both delegates actively participated in roundtable talks and networking sessions, contributing insights and sharing MSEUF’s best practices, which helped introduce MSEUF’s governance strategies to an international audience and laid the foundation for potential partnerships while serving as a platform to benchmark global standards and explore future collaborations where MSEUF aims to apply the knowledge gained to enhance its transparency, outreach, and operational systems. 

They also showcased MSEUF’s most innovative initiatives, which earned the university Top 5 in B7 Cost Effectiveness Management, Top 16 in A4 Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Top 26 in Culture/Values, presenting on behalf of the project authors VP Dario Opistan, Director Roselyn Maaño, and Director Jennifer Reyes, the delegates highlighted the work that contributed to these rankings. 

Another highlight aside from awarding and attending the conference, witnessing the Beyond Hangeul & K-Culture International Festival in Busan provided MSEUF delegates a unique opportunity to experience Korea’s rich cultural heritage firsthand. The festival showcased vibrant performances, traditional arts, and modern Korean culture, fostering cross-cultural appreciation and exchange. This cultural immersion complemented the conference experience, enriching the delegates' understanding of global diversity and collaboration.

Dir. Mabel and Ms. Czha expressed heartfelt gratitude to MSEUF Board of Trustee and to the Executive Officers, Chairman Wilfrido Enverga, Pres. Naila Leveriza, and Dr. Benilda Villenas for trusting and supporting their participation in the WGC 2025. They also thanked the Offices of the VP for Academics and Research, VP for External Relations, and the Global Engagement (GEO) for their invaluable assistance throughout the preparation process, from documentation to visa approval and ensuring safe travel. Their combined efforts made the successful representation of MSEUF on the global stage possible

The international event gathered academic and institutional presidents, leaders and experts from across the globe to discuss innovations in governance and strategic collaboration.
