Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted a book donation drive at the Ylang-Ylang Readspark Library on March 17 as part of its local benchmarking visit to North Universities, extending its outreach mission through support for reading and lifelong learning.

The University formally turned over educational books from various disciplines to support the library’s learning resources and help widen access to quality reading materials.

Dr. Engelbert Pasag of Panpacific University received the donation and expressed gratitude for the initiative, emphasizing the value of reading materials in promoting academic growth and community development.

Sixteen MSEUF benchmarking delegates attended the activity, including Vice President Celso Jaballa; Assistant to the Vice President for Academics and Research Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala; and Community Relations Department Director Dr. Milagrosa Lawas.

Global Engagement Office Director Dr. Jennifer Reyes planned the initiative, while University Libraries Director Dr. Myrna Casipit approved the activity, ensuring its successful coordination and implementation.

The outreach activity reflected MSEUF’s continued dedication to social responsibility and its mission to promote education beyond the classroom. Through support for partner institutions and community libraries, the University helped nurture a culture of reading while strengthening institutional partnerships.

The initiative reflects MSEUF’s core values of Service, Excellence and Unity by bringing educational resources to partner communities and promoting learning opportunities beyond the University. It also supports the University’s commitment to community engagement, lifelong learning and meaningful institutional collaboration.
