MSEUF hosts benchmarking visit with Laguna University and De La Salle Lipa on ETEEAP best practices

The Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) hosted delegates from Laguna University and De La Salle Lipa for a benchmarking activity on the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) at the University Library Seminar Hall, July 10.

Laguna University sent eight representatives led by Dr. Charlemagne Laviña. De La Salle Lipa brought nine delegates, including Dr. Lanie Santos and Dr. Erickson Martinez.

MSEUF Executive Vice President and ETEEAP Director Dr. Benilda N. Villenas opened the program and presented the university’s institutional profile and ETEEAP initiatives through an audio-visual presentation.

“Our objective is to foster an open dialogue and learn from each other’s strengths in ETEEAP implementation,” Villenas said.

The discussion featured presentations from key MSEUF officials. Dr. Henedina A. Lagumen and Dean Rodrigo C. Belleza Jr. shared administrative and academic processes. Dr. Flormando P. Baldovino discussed guidance and counseling services, research, and the university’s Learning Management System. Engr. Cielito V. Maligalig and Dr. Maricel D. Herrera presented implementation practices and success stories from MSEUF’s ETEEAP program.

“The adult learners we serve through ETEEAP demonstrate strong commitment to finish their studies despite demanding work schedules,” said Herrera.

A Q&A session followed the presentations, allowing delegates to exchange insights and clarify implementation models.

Delegates received certificates and exchanged tokens with MSEUF officials. A group photo commemorated the visit.

In the afternoon, MSEUF, Laguna University, and De La Salle Lipa signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize their partnership. The Laguna University delegation joined a campus tour, while De La Salle Lipa concluded its visit due to prior commitments.

Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Celso D. Jaballa closed the activity.

“Collaboration helps us improve and evolve higher education systems. Our shared goal is quality service to Filipino learners,” Jaballa said.

The Office of Special Internationalization Projects, led by Dr. Jennifer B. Reyes, organized the event. Mr. Denmark H. Catan served as the master of ceremonies.
