About the DCAVRKMI
The MSEUF Dr. Cesar A. Villariba Research and Knowledge Management Institute (DCAVRKMI) oversees the research and knowledge production at the University. It develops and implements the university's research agenda, including planning, organizing, documenting, disseminating, and utilizing research outputs. Committed to human growth and social development, the institute provides support for research activities, fosters collaboration, and ensures the quality and impact of research endeavors. It also manages the university's research budget, establishes external partnerships for funding, disseminates research findings through publications and colloquia, maintains a databank of research outputs, and facilitates the utilization and commercialization of research outcomes.
The MSEUF Dr. Cesar A. Villariba Research and Knowledge Management Institute (DCAVRKMI) manages, monitors, and evaluates research and knowledge production of the University. It formulates and implements the overall research agenda of the University - from designing, organizing, documenting, disseminating, and utilizing research and knowledge outputs. The MSEUF DCAV Research and Knowledge Management Institute is committed to the production, dissemination, and utilization of new knowledge for human growth and social development.
The MSEUF DCAV Research and Knowledge Management Institute:
- plans, directs and administers the University’s research agenda;
- provides a workplace, technical and professional assistance and facilities necessary for the conduct of research;
- assists researchers in keeping them abreast with the trends in research and in enhancing their research capabilities;
- monitors and supervises ongoing research activities and projects;
- reviews the annual research budget and grants;
- establishes linkages with external organizations for research funding;
- disseminates research outputs via publications and research colloquia;
- serves as the University databank of research and knowledge outputs; and
- manages the utilization and commercialization of research outputs.
